About
Jane Suiei Sensei
Jane Suiei Naito has studied Sogetsu ikebana for the past twenty years and holds multiple Sogetsu Teaching Certificates. She has enjoyed teaching and sharing her knowledge of Sogetsu Ikebana in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past nine years.
Suiei Sensei has served on the Board of the San Francisco Ikebana International and the Ikebana Teachers Federation. She is currently serving as the Treasurer of the Sogetsu San Francisco Bay Area Branch and is on the Sogetsu ArtScape Flower Show committee.
She has exhibited at the de Young Museum's Bouquets to Arts floral exhibit, Filoli's Mother's Day Flower Show and numerous Ikebana International & Sogetsu’s ArtScape Flower Shows. In addition, she has demonstrated for the San Francisco, Monterey and Sacramento chapters of Ikebana International organizations, at the Sogetsu San Francisco Bay Area Branch ArtScape Flower Show and for various community organizations and garden clubs.
